Modern bohemian bride

Modern bohemian bride, this fabulous wedding took place at the Asylum Chapel in Shoreditch. Such an amazing venue with its beautiful shabby chic look. This has to be the ultimate venue for a modern boho wedding.

The bride wore my Florence design just perfect for a modern bohemian bride. Florence is a beautiful French Lace overdress. The lace simply speaks for itself.Soft and natural to the touch. It is worn over a heavy silk crepe bias cut slip dress. The silk slip was a warm flesh colour and the silk used was sandwashed. Adding to the soft texture of the whole outfit. Technically speaking this combo counts as bridal separates.

I love how the Florence design lends itself to many interpretations. It has been worn in a much more traditional bridal look.It has been worn in the country and worn on the beach. Teamed here with my soft tulle long veil. The veil is trimmed with a matching lace trim used on the dress hem. I do make veils to order and can make to the perfect length for you. The tulle is a soft silk feel. Light and floaty to match my dresses. No heavy stiff tulle. I find that the lace trim works well on this tulle although I can add a lace of your choice.

I absolutely loved making this dress as I do with all my brides. The photographs are simple sweet and stunning. So natural and relaxed exactly what I hope to bring to brides. Feedback has said that comfort and the ability to just be yourself is really important when choosing a dress. I believe that Florence brings this but with incredibly luxurious fabric too!

You can see more real brides wearing the Florence design over on my instagram page @danabolton. As I said all sorts of different versions and variations of bridal style can be seen on real brides..
